The goal is to go into details and acquire knowledge on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) analytical technics, and on Mass spectrometry.

Some reminder on the proton NMR.

NMR : 13C, 19F, and 31P, 2D NMR homonuclear and heteronuclear technics (COSY, HMQC, HMBC, NOESY...), Nuclear Overhauser Effect (NOE) : application to the structural determination of complex molecules.

 

Mass Spectrometry: mass analyser: quadripole, ion trap and TOF (Time of Flight) ; ionization method : electronic impact, chemical ionization, APCI, electrospray. Applications to the structural analysis and determination.
