Aimed objectives and skills :

To acquire the tools and reflexes for new projects management.

To learn the mechanisms of transversality.

To use a software for project management.

To understand the different types, stakes and difficulties of project management.

To apply the methodology of project management in a professional or in an educational situation.

1)     Generalities

Definitions and fundamental principles of project management.

Methodology of project management.

Actors (definition and  role): project leader, project manager, contractor, client.

2)     Principal tools and methods for project management

Specifications, budget, GANTT and PERT (time, cost, probability), charge planning and mandate planning.

Mastering the project risks and project reliability.

3)     Learning how to use a software (MS Project):

Resources, calendars, tasks and links (links between tasks and types of impositions).

Project piloting by impositions and resources.

Laws concerning resources affectation.

The overuse of resources.

Planning and monitoring of WHO does WHAT and WHEN? Advantages of the software.

4)     Organizational and human dimensions

Typology of project groups, interface between projects and permanent structures, profession logic and project logic.

The required qualities for working in a project group or managing a project, human resources management of actors’ project (evaluation, training, career management), human costs of management by project.


Written examination at the end of the seminar (1h30).
